We often played Chor-Sipahi (Thief and Police), which is like a hide-and-seek game where one team plays thieves and the other police. The police try to catch the thieves and bring them to a designated jail area. It’s quite thrilling.

We played that too! It’s a classic. Another game I enjoyed is Kho-Kho. It’s a tag game where players sit in a row and try to catch the runners. It’s all about speed and agility.
Kho-Kho is popular in many parts of India, including Jammu and Kashmir. Another traditional game we have is Kabbadi, which is also well-known nationally. It’s a team sport where players raid the opponent’s side to tag as many defenders as possible without getting caught.

Yes, we play Chaturanga, which is believed to be the predecessor of chess. It’s an ancient strategy game involving four players with pieces representing different parts of an army.
