- Molly, Gracie and Daisy all at their home in Jigalong with their Mum, Grandmother and other relatives.
- Running away from Moore River
- The young girls are being taken by The Aboriginal Protection Board from their home in Jigalong, to be taken away to the Moore River Native Settlement.
- Finding Gracie at The Train Station
- At the Moore River Native Settlement, the girls are pushed into a shed like building and forced to sleep in beds surrounded by other young Aboriginal girls who have also been taken from their families.
- Reunited with Mum
- Whilst doing their chores, Molly, Gracie and Daisy run away from the Settlement and start their mission of following the Rabbit Proof Fence to find their way home.
- Gracie hears that her mother is in the country of Wuiluna, she tries to catch the train to go be with her but its a trap and the white males from the Aboriginal Protection Board come and take her again.
- After 9 weeks of following the fence and going through the desert Molly and Daisy finally arrive home in Jigalong.
