- •Indesign of an aero craft, statistical process are applied in design of fuselagesection, to which the wings are attached
- •Photogrammetry is one of theprocesses used to evaluate the process data, whereby the joint for each sectionis measured by attaching small plates measuring around 10 x 15 cm at selectedpositions
- •Photogrammetry is used to measurejoins in the context of a GTI (Ground Test Instruction). GTIs are mandatorytests which must be carried out on every single aircraft, with other GTIsincluding the ventilation system or hydraulics
- The use of this process and the introductionof the SPC system at Aerospace aims to narrow down the process oftroubleshooting and problem management
- By recording process and product data in thesystem, it is possible to obtain an all-encompassing overview of the relevantsection and demonstrate contextual relationships between the product and theprocess and highlighting possible weaknesses
- •Inthiscase, it is prudent to explore the use of Statistical Process Control inengineering application of Aerospace
