Jason and the Argonauts

- Man, I want to be king and live in this!
- Okay you can but......
- Pictured here on the left we have Jason and on the right we have Pelias. Pelias is the uncle of Jason and the King of the city, Iolcus.
- The Golden Fleece.
- Jason really wanted to be the King of Iolcus and his Uncle Pelias said that he could, but he must receive the Golden Fleece which would not be an easy task. Jason was still up for the challenge.
- Let's leave!!
- Jason and the Argonauts set sale because now they had to head to Colchis, which is where the Golden Fleece was located. This island was in where Aeetes daughter, Medea was in charge.
- Jason and the Argonauts made it to Colchis. There, Jason met Medea. Medea insisted that if he wanted to become King and obtain the Golden Fleece, he must marry her.
- That in fact did happen and now Jason, Medea, and the Argonauts had all gotten back on the boat to return to Iolcus with possession of the Golden Fleece.
- The gods were very mad and gave them a very tough time to get back home. It was very windy and the boat was tilting.
