- Because of all the sin in the world, everyone was very angry. They had all turned away from God and were bad people.
- So Noah built the ark, just as God had told him. God also told Noah that he was to take two of every kind of animal with him on the ark, as well as his wife and sons.
- But there was still one family who obeyed God and loved him. Noah and his wife had 3 sons, Ham, Shem, and Japheth.
- One day, God told Noah that he was going to send a flood which would destroy the whole world and all the bad people in it. But God told Noah to build a big boat, called an ark. He told Noah exactly how to build the ark, and that his family and all the animals would be saved from the flood.
- So Noah took his wife and sons, and two of each animal and put them on the Ark, just as God had told him to.
- After Noah's family was safely in the ark, God sent lots of rain to cover the whole Earth. It rained for forty days, and all the people who didn't love God were destroyed. But God kept Noah and his family, and all the animals safe on the ark.
