- Eteocles and Polyneices were two brothers who owned the biggest company in the City of Thebes. Their constant fighting leads the company to split. The two sides were violent to the other side. The violence finally reached the two brothers resulting in their deaths. 
- Judgement
- After finding out that their brothers died, Antigone and her sister, Ismene, go to the police station to give the information that they have. The chief of police tells the girls that Polyneices was not to be buried. This makes Antigone upset, so she makes a plan to bury her brother. Her sister Ismene doesn't want to go join her because the chief told them not to. 
- Wise advice
- Antigone sneaks into the police station at night just before lockup. No one sees her enter the coroner's room. Once she is in she takes her brother's body, but the body is too heavy for her to carry by herself. This causes a loud noise to escape the room, altering one of the officers. 
- Pride
- The officer goes to investigate the noise. He finds Antigone and brings her to the chief of police, Creon. Insults and punishments are being thrown around between Antigone, Creon, and Haemon.  Antigone's punishment still lies and Haemon tells his father that if he sentences Antigone he would never see his son again. 
- Chief of Police 
- Reverend Tiresias and his youth go to tell Creon the concusses for his disapproval of the burial of Polyneices. If Creon doesn't change his sentence and bury the body he will be punished. Fate will catch him and he will pay for his actions. 
- Creon has a change of heart and decides to change his previous sentence. When he goes to tell Antigone and Haemon the good news he finds the two lovers dead laying on the floor side by side. He later hears a dispatch for a dead body at his residence. His wife killed herself after receiving a phone call from her son saying he was going to kill himself with Antigone, because of Creon.
