The Old Stone Age
The New Stone Age
Improved life after The Agricultural Revolution
In the Paleolithic Age, hominins are called hunter gatherers because they hunt animals and gather plants for food. If they can't find any, they will have to move on to a new place. This is the nomad life. They do not have permanent homes and live in temporary shelters like caves
In the Neolithic Age, people settled down where they could grow their own crops. They discovered that they could plant seeds and gather crops for food and domesticate animals such as goats, cows, and sheep. This is called agriculture. They used mules to carry heavy loads. They also built their own permanent homes out of mud bricks. Houses protected people from bad weather and animals. It also enabled people to live close together, forming communities.
After the Agricultural Revolution life improved in many ways. People no longer had to move around, which allowed them to focus on specific jobs like making tools and growing food. They had better resources of food and permanent shelters that helped them survive . They also sailed on boats to different places to trade for resources in other communities. By meeting new people around the world they spread new ideas to each other.
