- Perseus is used to the poor life in the island of serphus
- Meeting with the Mentor
- When Perseus arrived without a gift, he told Polydectes he'll do anything he wants in the world to show his loyalty. The king then told him he wanted the head of the gorgon Medusa
- Approach to the Innermost Cave
- Perseus didn't want to go to the quest and leave his mother alone at the island but he must keep his word to the king
- The Reward
- The two god's, Athena and Hermes give advice and guide Perseus to the home of the Graeae where Medusa is
- When Perseus reaches medusa's lair, he has reached the point of no return. From here on out danger and adventure await him.
- Perseus saves his mother, and his journey is concluded. He returns the magical items he borrowed, and gives Medusa's head to Athena. All is restored to its rightful state.
