- Pharaoh made a law that all young Hebrew boys would be killed so Moses's mother sent him in a river and Pharaoh's daughter found the baby in a river and named him Moses.
- Moses sees two men fighting and kills one of them so he flees because Pharaoh found out.
- While Moses was on the run, he came across a bush that was on fire but wasn't burning. God was speaking to him through the bush and told him to go tow Egypt and demand that Pharaoh would let his people go.
- Pharaoh was stubborn and wouldn't let God's people go so God sent the first of the many plagues on Egypt. Moses struck the water with his staff and the turned the Nile River water into blood.
- This is the last of the ten plagues on Egypt. God gave the Israelites specific instructions on how to avoid this plague. They put pure lambs blood on their door post so that their first born son would not die. When the angel saw the blood, it would pass over and skip their house. That is what we call it the passover.
- The last plague killed Pharaoh's son and he finally had enough. He let the Israelites go. Once they got to the red sea Pharaoh's heart was hardened again and he decided to go after them. There was no way to get past the red sea so Moses slammed his staff into the ground causing it part for them to walk through. Once the Egyptians got there the waters crashed down and defeated them.
