- One night god told Abraham to look up at the stars and count how many there were. Abraham was unable to because there were so many, God said that's how big your family will be That's a promise.
- Abraham told his wife Sarah of this news. Sarah was in shock she could not believe it but she saw how much Abraham believed in god so she believed too.
- A few years later their family became a three and God's promise had come true and a boy named Isaac was was born.
- A couple of years later the night before the offering god spoke to Abraham once again and said that tomorrow his son would be the offering instead of an animal, Abraham was in tears he was so confused but remembered the promise.
- Abraham and Isaac made their way to the top of the mountain like they do every year.Isaac was very confused on why they forgot an animal and asked, but Abraham just said that god would provide the offering for them.
- Abraham and Isaac set up the place for the offering but then Abraham had to explain to Isaac that god wanted him to be the sacrifice, Isaac was confused and scared but trusted his father and did what he said and before the weeping Abraham could make the offering he heard God say that is was only a trial of trust.and all was well.
