Yea that's a lot of cars. Crazy to believe that the first car was invented in 1886 by a man named Carl Benz, back then it was a luxury to own one, and even then it's nothing compared to the cheapest car you can buy now. The first car invented only made around 0.75 horse power and had a top speed of 10 mph. Imagine how much longer we would take doing everyday errands
Oh no we're gonna be late to dinner. There is way too much traffic
Eisenhower signed the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956 which we now use for transporting goods and to get places faster. But before we had the interstates we used railroads which we still use today, canals, and rivers to transport goods around the U.S.
Wow we really are a lucky generation, I have so many questions. What about highways and freeways? those really help us get to places quickly and transport goods. How did they do it hundreds of years ago?
yea it's very impressive how far we have come, we are still advancing with time. Who knows maybe in 50 years we can vacation on the moon or even mars!
That's interesting, i cant imagine not being able to order something off amazon. It comes within 2-3 days sometimes, hundreds of years ago it must have taken forever. oh look the traffic is clearing up
