- We're gettting rid of the king !
- We want to free our prisoners !!
- King Louis is an absolute ruler who commanded complete loyalty and caused many consequences during his time ruling.
- Scene 4: Reign of Terror
- This Government is AWFUL!
- Lower and middle class in France struggled with social, economic, and political problems in the country. The king tried to increase taxes on the commoners and riots began.
- Scene 5: Rise of Napoleon
- The people were arming themselves and killed royal troops and destroyed the prison that was used to hold people who spoke out against the king.

- The Commitee of public safety violated citizens basic rights and freedom and in this example the right to freedom of speech was being violated.
