- Archduke Franz Ferdinand was traveling around Sarajevo inspecting imperial armed forces
- Meanwhile, 6 teenage boys recruited by the Black Hand. Went out to assassinate Archduke Franz Ferdinand
- Every boy went to a place on the Archduke's route, and had been given 2 things a gun, and bombs.
- The first assassination attempt was with bombs, the terrorist threw the bomb at the car, but Archduke grabbed it and threw it out. Injuring others, doing this changed his cars route.
- The other terrorists heard the explosion and, went away probably thinking Franz Frenanded was dead.
- Gavrilo Princip had heard the bomb and started walking away from his post. But Archduke's car turned, stopped in front of him. So he took his two shots, one at Archduke's wife and at Archduke. Franz Ferdinand's last words were "Sophie, Sophie! Don't die! Live for our children!"
