- Hello. I am Poseidon, and this is my son.
- I am Chiron, the centaur. I am the director of the camp for kids like Percy who, due to their abnormal abilities, have no place in modern society. During the summer, or year round, hundreds of kids come from around the country to spend their time here, honing their skills. I have been training children like them for thousands of years.
- While they were sleeping, Percy had a dream. Suddenly, he was awoken by a loud clap of thunder!
- Percy Jackson and his mother went to their favorite cabin out on Long Island
- Percy was being chased by the Minotaur! Unfortunately, the Minotaur caught his mother, and Percy had to flee to the top of a nearby hill.
- When Percy got to the top of the hill, he was met with a crazy scene. A camp was all laid out before him. A girl came up to him, and then he fainted.
- Somebody help me get him up!
- When Percy woke up, campers were asking him what it was like fleeing from the Minotaur and how he felt.
