I missed class today could you tell me what was taught.
We learned about whisking ,the rubbing in method and the creaming method.
Well,we learnt about the three cake mixing methods,the main ingredients used in cake mixing and the guidelines in cake mixing.

The Rubbing in method is when air is trapped in sieving the flour and by lightly (with finger tips)rubbing the fat into the flour while raising agents in the flour help the cake to rise.
Whisking is the process in which eggs and sugar whisked together to trap air and creaming is when air is trapped by creaming the sugar and fat together this gives it a lighter texture.
