God told Abraham to go to a mountain in the region of Moriah and sacrifice his one and only son as a burnt offering. Abraham did as the God told him and took his two servants and son and set off for the place God would show him.
Abraham took his son up the mountain. As Abraham was about to sacrifice his son an Angel stopped him and told him to not sacrifice him and to sacrifice a ram instead.
