- The Falling House of Ushers
- "I'm not getting a good feeling about this house."
- "Oh! That's my sister, Madeline! She is also very sick."
- "who is the girl that keeps walking through the hallway?"
- U.S. received a letter from one of his old friends Usher. Usher is very sick and is wanting to see U.S. in the hopings that he can help him. U.S. is debating on whether or not to go. He decides to go see his old friend, but when he arrives, he gets this weird, scary feeling coming over him.
- U.S. walked into the house and went to find Usher. They talked and just caught up on life. As Usher was talking, U.S. noticed that Usher talked fine, but his body looked very pale and weak. As they continued to catch up, U.S. saw this girl walk past in the hallway and he asked Usher who she was. Usher explained that she was his sister, Madeline.
- - Usher - At first everyone was very concerned about Usher because no one could figure out what was wrong with him, and he was scared he was gonna die. Later on in the story U.S. realized what was wrong with Usher, he was so scared about being scared that he was killing himself. - Madeline - She has cataleptic disease. It is where her heart slows way down and her muscles get really stiff and it seems like she is dead when she's really not.

- "This was definitely an adventure, but i am sure glad to be going home!!"
- The same night that the narrator arrived Madeline "died." They went to bury her in the basement hallway in multiple vaults. Before they buried her, they opened the casket and saw that she had a reddish color to her skin. They then closed her up and put her in the wall to leave her there for two weeks, and then would take her out and bury her in the ground.
- After trying to calm Usher down, it quickly became night, and they both went to bed. A terrible storm began, but they were hearing weird noises coming from the basement which they both knew wasn't the storm. This scared both of them, but they decided to go check it out. As soon as they opened the door there Madeline was, she was alive. They all stood in shock for a few minutes before Madeline fell on top of Usher and died. U.S. went to check on Usher to make sure he was okay when he realize Usher was also dead. Usher died from being so scared.
- Knowing that both Madeline and Usher were dead, there was no need for the narrator to be there anymore. The narrator left that night to go back home. As he got on his horse and started heading out the driveway, He turned around for one last look at the house. He turned around right in time to see the house collapsing. All the Usher's were dead so there was no need for the house to be standing anymore.
