- (Rhea) Where are we going?
- (Father, Aaron) We're embarking on a long trip called The Oregon Trail to search for a new and better home.
- (Mom, Karen) We need to prepare because we're leaving tonight.
- 1 month later...Everyone is healthy. Mom/Karen doesn't feel that great though.
- Mom, are you feeling well enough for this?
- Alright folks, we've come this far... let's keep moving on.
- The Oregon Trail
- No honey, I don't feel that great. I will try to keep moving though
- 3 months later...Mom/Karen died of mumps
- Honey... we must go on. Karen would have wanted us to.
- (sobbing)
- 6 months later...Rhea has a broken leg. Father/Aaron is Exhausted and is suffering dysentery.
- We're almost there. You feelin' good enough to push on?
- Yes, father but may we take a break?
- 9 months later...Rhea still has a broken leg. Father/Aaron is Exhausted and about to die from cholera.
- C'mon, Pa! You gotta get up. We're almost there.
- I can't make it, honey. Y'all go ahead without me. I'll try and catch up.
- 1 year later...Rhea's leg is healed. Father/Aaron and Mom/Karen have died.
- Well, this is it. My folks are gone. I reckon I need to find someone who can help me figure things out from here.
