In this introduction, I will spend time talking about how everything around us in different states of matter. I will cut to different objects to show the different states of matter so they can observe them.
Gases
Talk about how solids are rigid, in a fixed shape, and in a fixed volume. Show different examples of objects that are solids (objects from home) as a close-up and cut to each object. Add a short video of solids (made by me) as a close-up.
Plasma
Talk about how liquids are not rigid, do not have a fixed shape, and have a fixed volume. Compare solids and liquids by demonstrating the differences in a video (made by me) with a close-up and cut to each object.
Phase Changes
Talk about how gases are not rigid, do not have a fixed shape, and do not have a fixed volume. Compare solids, liquids, and gases by demonstrating the differences with a video clip (made by me) by cutting to the video after a close-up showing molecules of gas.
Talk about plasma and how it is energy. Connect all four types of matter by comparing their differences using close-ups and cutting to each object. Cut to a short video clip of plasma created in a microwave.
Show how added and subtracted energy connects the states of matter. Also, name the different phases of matter and how they connect the states of matter. All of this will be cutting to charts that will connect energy and the phases. Talk about the different phases that do not follow the normal path (sublimation and deposition) by cutting to different images and short videos.
