- In this scene, Elastagirl goes to Edna's place to see if she knows anything about her husband. Edna can tell that she is stressed out and frustrated about her husband going back into superhero work after they were in hiding for many years. Edna pretty much hints to Elastagirl that it is up to her to bring her family closer together and get their crap together. Most importantly, Elastagirl can help them find their identities.
- In this scene, the family is getting ready to fight crime and all at the same time they pull out their masks that help disguise their real identities. The masks symbolize identity, which helps relate to the theme, that your identities are your everything. When this family was living an average life, they were all struggling to fit in with others, but more importantly they were struggling to fit in with each other. When they got to become supers again, they all became happy and their relationship grew closer.
- In this scene, Dash is running away from the guards in the airplane. Dash is the character who is a little mischievous and won't take no for an answer, so this makes Dash ultra competitive. From this scene, you can definitely tell that this is an action movie and you can expect violence or explosions to happen. Action movies also have very climatic moments and turning points, and right here when Dash ignores everything his mom told him to do, something suspenseful will be happening.
