Storyboard Popis

A story of how bees pollinate flowers and how plants reproduce through pollination.

Text z Príbehu

  • The whole process of pollination starts with a couple of pollinators, such as bees going to some flowers to pollinate.
  • These bees land on these flowers where they collect pollen through the flower and stamen.
  • To begin fertilization, the pollen from the stamen is transported through pollinators such as bees onto the stigma from the pistil where it sticks and is transported into the ovary through the pollen tube and the sperm in the pollen joins with the egg inside the ovary to begin the process of making an seed for a new plant to grow from.
  • These bees fly away from these flowers, to pollinate the next flowers where they repeat the same process.
  • To begin the process on how plants reproduce we see the stamen which has two major parts, the anther and the filament

  • The bees seen previously take the pollen from the anther to transport.
  • Next, we see the female reproductive system in the plant, the pistil. The pistil is made up of 3 parts, the stigma, the style, and the ovary.

  • The stigma is where the pollen sticks onto.
