Hi I want to be a financial advisor. They assess the financial needs of individuals and help them with short and long term investments. Usually they match individuals with investments that match the individual's goals.
A financial advisor is generally compensated through fees, commissions, or a combination of both. Their usual annual salary ranges between $33,000 to $187,000. On average they earn $75,000! What certification I get affects how much i get paid.
With that sort of money, I can move out of this dumpster of a place and finally get a place of my own. I'll also only have to work 40 hours a week and probably will get my own office!
It would be great if I could work at a firm instead of being unemployed all the time. I'm great with people and I really do care about others. I would love a job of assisting people.
First i need to get a bachelors degree and a professional certification like a CFA or a CFP or a RIA. Before I try to get certified maybe i should look for an internship first.
Being a financial advisor will be tough, but with hard work and dedication, I know I can finish the schooling and get an internship and then get certified! then i can begin my dream job of being a financial advisor!
So what do you recommend?
