- The people are going to hate you and might revolt or demand more
- Oh no France is in debt because I King Louis XVI spent too much money on the American Revolution, and we cannot get more money because the first and second estates don't pay taxes and the third estate has no money left from being taxed so heavy
- The estates general was called in an attempt to solve Frances financial crisis and despite the third estate making up 97% of the population they had the same amount of representation as the first two estates. This led the third estate to form the national assembly which would be their new form of government. Then one day the king ordered the meeting spot of the national assembly to be locked so then the national assembly met at a tennis court near by where they took the tennis court oath where they all decided they wouldn't stop meeting until their is a constitution that limits the monarch powers
- I take an oath to not stop meeting until we establish a new constitution
- Before this to start the revolution we did things such as murdering the king and queen and storming and taking over the Bastille. We are now revolting against Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI and having the reign of terror. Robespierre an revolutionary extremist is trying to kill all who rival the revolution with public execution via guillotine. Roughly 27 thousand people will be killed and it will only end when Robespierre is arrested and killed.
