Just because there are more of you, do not believe that you will win.... said by the Greeks to the Persians. This is a look at the battles that led to Persia’s retreat.
Athens in Flames

Battle of Salamis
RETREAT!
After years, King Darius’ son, Xerxes, wanted to seek revenge. It started at Thermopyle where 300 brave Spartans fought to the death to let other Greeks flee.
The End
Everyone but the Spartans
We all came together
Persians quickly followed the Greeks back to Athens, but they had already evacuated the city, so Xerxes decides to set fires to burn it down.
They’re not here, burn it down!
Surprise! The Athenian army was not in Athens, but was by the island of Salamis. The Persian fleet was much larger, yet the Greeks won because of their small, fast, maneuvering boats. Xerxes had to retreat back to Persia.
We are small but mighty!
