- Have after. To what issue will this come?
- Let's follow. 'Tis not fit thus to obey him.
- The ghost cues Hamlet to follow, but Horatio does not think it is a good idea. Hamlet wants to go though to see what he wants. Hamlet is frustrated that they don't trust his dad's ghost.
- Where wilt thou lead me? Speak, I'll go no further.
- Mark me.
- Two of the guards try to hold hamlet back because they fear for his life. Hamlet is frustrated and pushes past them. The guards just want to protect him.
- I am thy father's spirit. If thou didst thy dear father love-Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder.
- What?
- The guards watch Hamlet leave, but do not stay behind because he is tunnel visioned. They don't want to obey in case of danger. They also feel Hamlet may get manipulated.
- Murder?
- Murder most foul, as in the best it is. But this most foul, strange and unnatural.
- Hamlet tells the ghost to hurry and tell him the news because he won't go no further. The ghost tells Hamlet to listen to him. Hamlet begins to listen.
- The ghost tell Hamlet how he has died. Hamlet learns that he was murdered. Hamlet is very concerned.
- The ghost tells Hamlet it was very unusual and unexpected. Hamlet is terrified and concerned of the news. Hamlet makes a plan for revenge.
