- Meeting with the co-workers
- Thank You all for agreeing to meet. I needed to discuss our problems at work.
- Meeting with the co-workers
- What more is there to discuss? We have approached Mr. Ali multiple times with our problems but he still ignores us.
- I've approached a trade union organizer to help us.
- Meeting with the co-workers
- Are you crazy! You could lose your job. We all could lose our jobs!
- No, No you got it all wrong. They informed me that we have the right to join trade unions. Mr. Ali cannot fire us for joining a trade union, let alone talking to one.
- After meeting with the trade union orgainisors, Mr. Daniels decided to call a meeting with his co-workers who share his grievances and to inform them of everything Ms. Vee and Mr. Adams.
- Meeting with the co-workers
- Yeah. What if we just strike. That will get Mr. Ali's attention.
- Mr. Adams and Ms. Vee told me A strike is the last thing we should do now. It could make everything worse.
- One of Mr. Daniels's co-workers; Mr. Andrews; does not believe there is much more to do as they have constantly been ignored by Mr. Ali. Mr. Daniels informs them that it will be different this time as they will have the help of Trade Union Organizers.
- Meeting with the co-workers
- Sure it wouldn't be that bad to try them out.
- I don't know if it'll work but I guess we could try it
- Fine, I'll join too
- Ms. Lily is concerned that Mr. Daniels approached a Trade union because she thinks he might get fired or get them all fired if Mr. Ali finds out, causing panic among the group. A common misconception, Mr. Daniels assures all of them that employees are allowed to join trade unions and Mr. Ali cannot fire them.
- Meeting with the co-workers
- Some of the co-workers does not think the trade union organizers will be much help and begins to question their intentions. Another co-worker suggests striking to get Mr. Ali's attention. Mr. Daniels calmly informs the group that the trade union organizers mean good and wants to help them and that staging a strike will not be a good idea, especially an illegal one.
- Do You really think the can help us at all ? What do they want from us?
- They really do mean well. They want to help us because we are being treated unfairly. They'll be with us every step of the way.
- Sure why not.
- Mrs. David's says that she thinks its a good idea as they don't have any other options so they might as well try it. Other co-workers agree and some agree half heartily.
- Well I think it's worth a try joining the trade union with their trade union organizers. We have no more options.
- Mr. Daniels inform them that they should not worry and if they all co-operate with the Trade union organizers everything should go well.
- Don't worry guys it'll work out. I'll let them know we are all on board and will co-operate with them.
