- The church on fire
- Oh no! I bet that we must have started the fire! We need to save them.
- Where are the kids?? I was telling them not to play inside!
- Apprehensive, Johnny admits that he can't take hiding any more- he thinks that it would be better if he would just turn himself in. Mad and angry, Darry asks the boys why they couldn't have said this a lot earlier- it would have saved them all time and effort.
- Saving the Children
- The boys are in the car on the way to church when Darry and Johnny start arguing. In the drama Darry reveals that he cares for Johnny. He also states his experiences on going to jail and how it can make you tough- he is still not convinced about the fact of the boys turning themselves in.
- Going to the Hospital
- The greasers are in the car when they realize that the church is on fire. Ponyboy and Johnny run out of the car against Darry's will to explore what happened. Ponyboy realizes that Johnny and him could have started the fire. Making the situation even worse, they hear a teacher yelling that the kids are missing and here people yelling from inside the church.
- Meets his family
- I missed you so much Ponyboy!
- We love you so much!
- Gallantly and determinedly, Ponyboy and Johnny break a window and enter the church to help save the kids. The temperature of the church being hotter than the surface of the sun didn't stop the boys from saving the children! They figured that this could be their only chance to make up for their wrong doings in the past and start a good future.Somehow Johnny and Pony find a way to get the children out safely without any harm to them.
- Help! Help!
- Weeeeewoooooo! Ponyboy wakes up in an ambulance on the way to the hospital with one of the school teachers- Jerry with millions of questions to ask! Ponyboy was so curious about what had happened to him, where Darry and Johnny were, etc.. Answering all of them, Jerry makes it clear about his burns, the current state of his gang members, and what had happened in the church.
- Incredulous and wide-eyed, Ponyboy can't believe his eyes when he see's Sodapop and Dally for the first time since some difficult days. Exchanging hugs and love, Dally says sorry for slapping Ponyboy and expresses how much both of his brothers had missed him and most importantly that he actually cares for Ponyboy.
