- Hey! I was about to go to class, where are you headed?
- Oh, sounds pretty interesting! Want to grab some coffee and chat about it after class?
- My first day of anthropology! I don't know much about the subject besides it involves the studying of culture and it's effect on humans. I think it mainly studies historical events!
- Sounds good!
- Wow after that lesson my whole perspective on anthropology changed! I never knew about all the aspects.
- Yea! That was a surprise to me too, but it makes sense when you remember anthropology studies human culture from all times, past to present! Artifacts are crucial in understanding the traditions of our ancestors
- Me too! I never knew about the four fields that make us who we are! I was surprised archaeology was included!
- How was your first class? Do you feel any differently about anthropology?
- Wow that's awesome! I think I'll take that next semester!
- It was great! Definitely, before this lesson I didn't grasp how complex yet simple anthropology is. There are many contributing aspects to the study, yet it all revolves around what truly makes us human!! I appreciate when my classes not only apply to everyday things, but help me better understand myself and others.
