- Lily decides to enter the contest and takes a guess at the number of cookies in the jar.The bakery owner tells her that she'll have to come back tomorrow to find out if she's won.Lily can't resist the temptation of the cookies, and as she leaves the bakery, she sneaks a few into her backpack.
- The comic opens with a girl, named Lily, was eyeing the cookies hungrily.A sign on the bakery window advertises a contest: "Guess how many cookies are in the jar and win a free dozen.
- Lily realizes that she accidentally took the wrong container of cookies from the bakery.She panics and decides to return the cookies, but when she gets to the bakery, she sees that the jar is already empty.The bakery owner tells her that someone correctly guessed the number of cookies in the jar and took the prize.
- Lily brings the cookies to school the next day to share with her friends.But as they're eating them, they realize that something's not right - the cookies taste strange and have a weird texture.One of Lily's friends notices that there's a label on the bottom of the container that says "Dog Treats."
- As Lily leaves the bakery, she sees a dog happily chewing on a cookie that looks suspiciously like one of the "dog treats" from the container she took.Lily sighs and realizes that she'll have to come up with a new plan if she wants to get her hands on some delicious cookies.
