K to !2 Curriculum

- I would like everyone to give their perceptions regarding the K to 12 program.
- Letting children go through kinder is fine with me because this wiĺl be a time for them to experience schooling, prepares them for more school years. However, the additional 2 years is a bit burdensome to students and parents. First, additional cost because of the 2 yrs senior high. The core subjects defeat the purpose for some of the students especially those who opted for nonacademic strand like tech voc, arts,etc. Subjects like statistics is obviously way out of league for those enrolled in a non- academic track.
- I would like everyone to give their perceptions regarding the K to 12 program.
- Implementation of the K to 12 program for me is effective as it can mitigate the number of students who cannot afford to go to college and can land their jobs already most specifically the white collar jobs. On the other hand it also gives us the idea of what tertiary level is all about since it has different subjects that can be encountered in college. Basing on my experience, I wasn't able to experience the beauty of K to 12 program because we are the pioneering class who faced the major adjustments and fixations made by the authorities. But today, it is very evident that it is settled and fixed that causes a great impact on the students who are aiming for their dreams to come true.
- K12 is consider as good yet somehow impractical. Agree to disagree, we are stubborn as first batch of said curriculum. My perception to K12, if it wasn't implemented we are professional right now such as: having jobs , getting salary and helping our family. Due to pandemic and typhoon, I think it's a bit challenging than we thought.
