- Ever since child labor became generalized, our company is growing rapidly. Even though it might harm a company's reputation and result in revenue loss, we are able to use less money since we can give minimum wages to children.
- Child labor is affecting our economy in a negave way. It leads to poverty because it is leading to adult unemployment since companies can give children less money than they would have to pay adults. Also, children are responsible for our nation's future. If children work instead of getting education, what would happen to America later on?!
- Already 200,000 children has died and 100 thousand are injured due to working in cranberry fields, mines, and factories. Children that are even 7 years old are working in the sun for several hours!They say labor leads to depression, stress, and anxiety. We are not even receiveing education!
- Because moisture and heat helped keep the cotton from breaking, windows were falways kept shut. In the cotton machines, my finger was crushed and broken into pieces for the third time. I spent my entire week working in the mills for 8 hours a day and all I get is 5 cents??
- Our economy is falling. Everyone is experiencing poverty and children are dying. Over 1.75 million children are not even recieving education! Government should do something about it/
- Child labor is a problem to our economy and our society.... I will start the keating owens act which is an act that had made it illegal to sell products that are made in factories or mines where minors under the age of 14 worked or teenagers between the ages of 14 and 16 worked more than an eight-hour day over state lines.
