- I see why you would think that but really, homework can help kids like you learn new things every day.
- I think homework should be banned from all schools because we need more freedom!
- Not really, adults that are employed have to do a lot more work than kids in school do. On top of that parents have to do so much more for their kids like cooking and cleaning their house.
- I guess you could say that but we have less freedom than you all because we have to go to school for the whole day.
- Sure, people could lose their sleep if they get to much homework, but it helps you set priorities like "I need to do my homework at 7:30 so I don't turn it in late.;"
- Okay, I guess I didn't think about that part. Regardless homework still takes up our free time and sometimes even sleep.
- While that may be true, if you become less engaged in class you might never get a job if you keep on fail assignments. So you need to stay focused in class no matter what.
- While that does make sense, the more homework we get, the less engaged we want to be in class.
- While the deadlines may not be helpful in your case, they help you plan ahead for things like free time and chores.
- Okay, I understand you but homework can cause stress because they give us a deadline that can stress us out.
- Maybe, you're right too, I guess kids like you need more free time and relaxation to prepare you for adulthood.
- Maybe you're right, maybe homework can be helpful and important for our learning capabilities.
