Our emotional, psychological, and social well-being are all parts of our mental health. It influences our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Additionally, it influences how we respond to stress, interact with others, and make healthy decisions.
So don't ever call someone dramatic because you don't know what someone is going through. Everyone can show emotions. We all have our own problems. And invalidating someone's mental health is insensitive.
Okay mom, thank you. I understand now. I'm sorry for being insensitive.
Check your friends and loved ones. Mental health affects 284 million people in the world and 50% of mental health problems are established by age 14 and 75% by age 24. They include anxiety, depression, and are often a direct response to what's going on in their lives. Mental health is just as important as physical health. When your mental health isn't in the best state, give yourself a break. Embrace your emotions. It's okay to struggle. Talk to someone, consult a doctor. Rest, recover, be kind to yourself and know the bad times are temporary.
