- Dally tells Ponyboy and Johnny that Cherry is going to spy on the Socs for the them. She said she'll do it because she feels the whole thing is her fault
- Come on, let's get out!
- Get back out here! You two are dumb as a rock
- Out of the blue, Johnny said he wants to turn himself in. He says that he will get in less trouble that way, instead of them finding him.
- Johnny is wanted for murder, and Dallas has a record with the fuzz a mile long.
- Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally see that the church is on fire. They were all incredulous when they saw it. However, there were kids stuck in the church.
- I'm sorry
- Gallantly and Courageously, Ponyboy and Johnny go in the church to save the kids. Dally says that they're dumb. Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally get hurt pretty bad though.
- All three boys got put in ambulances going to the hospital. Ponyboy tells Jerry about everything that happened.
- Soda and Darry arrive at the hospital to meet Ponyboy. Darry and Ponyboy apologize to each other and make up.
