CLIMAX
We find the defendant guilty as charged!
A black man, Tom Robinson, is accused of brutally beating and raping Mayella Ewell. The Ewells didn't have any clear, direct, or factual evidence to support their accusations of Tom. This presents that Maycomb was just a very discriminatory place and didn't care if their actions threatened an innocent black man or woman's life.
FALLING ACTION
Scout, Jem, and Dill all sneak into Mr. Radley's backyard to learn more information about Boo. While crawling through his collards patch they are shot at. While trying to run away Jem gets his pants caught on the fence and has to leave them behind. Mr. Radley shooting at them shows his view towards certain groups of people because he thought it was a black man crawling around in his garden. He is filled with prejudice.
RESOLUTION
Tom Robinson is put on trial against the Ewells and an all-white jury while being defended by Atticus Fench. There were many times of little bickering back and forth between the two sides. In the end, Tom was proclaimed guilty and worthy of being put to death via the Electric Chair. During the court session, everyone knew and considered the evidence that Tom was definitely innocent, however in their hearts they found his as guilty because of being raised and shoved to Maycomb's racist and discriminatory customs.
While waiting to be put to death, Tom Robinson attempted to escape custody by running from the police. This cause a shootout which ended with Tom dead and 17 bullet entry points scattered around his now lifeless corpse. This scene alone could be used to show that even Maycomb's government enforcement teams have discriminatory and racist views. This is again shown by the officials neutralizing Tom with EXCESSIVE oppression.
The story of To Kill A Mockingbird is wrapped up with a brutal attack against Jem and Scout Finch while walking home from a pageant that Scout played in as a piece of ham. Bob Ewell, still angered and annoyed by Atticus's defense of Tom in the court case, quietly snuck up behind the children in the dark on their way home and attacked them. After trying to beat off Mr. Ewell a strange man came and rescued them. It turned out to be Boo Radley himself and he had taken Mr. Ewell and stabbed him under an old oak tree with a kitchen knife. People will hold and grudge and in some cases go through extreme measures to fulfill their unhappiness.
