- In book 1, Odysseus shows extreme bravery and intellegence, the intellegence shows when he builds the raft, and the bravery was him sailing the ocean on the small raft

- In book 4, it talks about how Odysseus goes to Troy with a group of soldiers, in the trojan horse (in the book, Odysseus is dressed as a beggar, not a soldier)
- througout the story, Odysseus shows extreme wisdom and bravery, and skill of an unstoppable warrior
- in book 9, Odysseus and his soldier need to escape the cyclopes' cave, he stabs the Cyclops in the eye, blinding it and forcing it to let them all out.
