Pakistan is a major contributer in water pollution dumping of industrial agricultural and domestic waste is continusly rising its is becoming more common in industrial cities to let waste water flow into the rivers and sea the worst reported is more than 2000 cusecs or raw sewage dumped into the river Ravi in ports oil sewage is very commonn and with increased chemical fertelisers water pollution is at a all time high it is becoming increasingly concerning as water scarcity is becoming regionaly more prevelant it is ruining vital resources that can be used and measures to control it have not yet been put in place
Water in Pakistan is scarce however it is vital in the country's economy therefore a just distribution technique was to be set up called the IRSA(Indus river system authority) however due to droughts and institutional mismanagement it was not followed resulting in a fall of agricultural output negatively impacting the economy therefore a distribution method is necessary for the survival of Pakistan's economy
