- Hey Sally, what are you doing after we graduate? I'm going to Harvard and becoming a lawyer!
- Uh..I'm not sure. I guess I haven't decided yet.
- Everybody has their life planned out ahead of them, but I have no idea what I want to do in life!
- Hi Mrs. Smith, I wanted to talk to you because I've been very stressed about what I want to do after high school, and was wondering if you could give me any advice?
- Of course Sally! I'm glad you reached out to talk! First, I want you to do something for yourself after school to feel more relaxed. Tomorrow you can come by my office during lunch and I can help you sort out your options!
- Mrs. Smith was right! After going on a walk I feel more relaxed and ready to discuss my options tomorrow!
- Thank you so much Mrs. Smith! After discussing my options with you I feel like I have an idea of what I want after high school!

- If I hadn't taken time to talk to my counselor, or done techniques to reduce my stress, I would've never realized my want to travel and take a gap year. Don't be afraid to reach out... or reach in!
