- You're name is and forever will be Rick Hansen.
- On August 26, 1957. A very special baby was born in Port Alberni, BC. But no body knew that he'll be the pride of Canada.
- On June 27, 1973. Rick Hansen injures his spinal cord severely due to a car accident. He became paralyzed from the waist down.
- In 1975, Rick Hansen meets Stan Strong and he encouraged to play wheelchair basket ball with him for Vancouver Cable Cars. Since Rick Hansen played wheelchair sports for a year.

- In 1976, Rick Hansen graduate the physical education with a degree. And becomes the first disablled person to graduate the physical education in University of British Columbia with degree.
- Thank you everbody, It's an honor of being the first disabled person to graduate the physical education in UBC.
- During 1979-1984, He reachs his heydays. He wins 19 wheelchair marathons, three world titles, and 15 medals. Also, in 1979, 1980 and 1982 he was awarded the Canadian Disabled Athlete of the Year award. All this happened in only 5 years.

- May 22, 1987. Rick Hansen returns to Vancouver after a world tour that began with the crew on March 21, 1985. The team raised $26 million for CSI's rehabilitation and research. And he is called the greatest disabled athlete in Canada and in the world.
