- After a long and tiring day on the plantation I finally get to get some sleep. I haven't eaten good food since I was born, only food that will keep me alive. I really just want to run away up north.
- Did you hear, we are planning on running away up north tonight. It is time we leave for good.
- What are you crazy? If our owner finds out, he will beat us or even kill us. I won't tell anyone but I have to think before I put my life on the line.
