- today we are going to learn about the shot heard around the world and the revolutionary war
- The War was between the colonist of the 13 colonies in america and the British in 1775. The “shot heard around the world” marks the beginning of this turbulent time in American History, and symbolizes the war’s first battle in which British soldiers killed 8 American colonists during a shootout.
- today in science we are learning about evolution and adaptation
- Evolution is the way life has changed over time. Darwin's finches were birds with different beaks that were discovered before They were discovered by Charles Darwin on the Galapagos Islands where he learned that the bird’s beaks adapted to the food sources available on the island, resulting in a change of its beak over time.
