- Ponyboy who is a greaser, lives on the East side with his 3 brothers who are orphans in Tulsa Oklahoma, 1967. His parents died in a car crash.
- CLIMAX
- But the Socs who live on the West side who are rich always comes and like to jump the Greasers.
- FALLING ACTION
- D
- Johnny had accidentally killed one of the Socs Bob when he thought that they were going to kill Pony. They had decided to run away to an abandoned church so they won't be in big trouble. When going to get lunch with Dally, the church caught on fire, kids were trapped in the church, so they saved them.
- RESOLUTION
- Johnny died by saving the kids from the burning church. Dally couldn't handle that so he gave up his life by letting the cops shoot him after robbing a groccery store.
- After Johnny and Dally died, Pony couldn't believe it. Pony started getting bad grades and he would be lucky if he even got a D. Soda couldn't bear Pony and Dally fighting constantly.
- Since Johnny was failing school his teacher let him pass with a C if he wrote an eassay about anyting that was important to him. He started by telling about his brothers.
