- Today it is easy to go and buy books but it wasn't always like this lets travel through the history of writing

- Before the printing press everything had to be writen by hand so it was all really expensive. Only the rich and first class people learned to read and write because only the rich could aford books and things to learn.

- One of the first things for printing were in the library of Ashurbanipal that held over 3000 clay tablets that had writing carved into them. When you put ink on it and pressed it on paper the writing went onto the paper.

- A German goldsmith named johannas gutenburg invented the printing press. it was made with dangerous chemicals and gases.
- The printing press
- When the printing press had been invented the prices of books, newspapers, and many more things that needed to be printed. For once people who went first class and rich could learn how to read write and were able to bye books and other things.
- The history of writing/printing is a good example of collective learning because everyone built on each others ideas till the printing press. first there were clay with writing on them. then some other people built on that idea and then Johanas Gutenberg made the printing press and were still building on that.
