  • Coach I just missed another field goal, I don't think I can do this anymore! Every time I kick, I get so anxious that I miss. The pressure from my family, team, fans, and recruiters is too much!
  • Don't worry, everybody misses at some point. It's part of life. Let's try some techniques to work on your anxiety!
  • What are some of the ways I can help with my nerves and start making kicks again?
  • First, start by taking deep breaths in and out until your heart steadies. 
  • Lastly, envision the result that you want. No moment is too big for you, you're more than capable. Give it another try.
  • Next, remember all the hard work and practice you put in to get here. You've earned this! Just stick to the fundamentals and skills that you've developed.
  • Remember what coach said: Deep breaths, envision the kick going through the posts, I have all the skills necessary. I'M GOOD ENOUGH!
  • Thanks Coach it worked! I feel so much better now. It means a lot to me. I'm excited for the game now!
  • You always had it in you, remember that. Most important of all, never forget that you're team is always here for you no matter what. I'm proud of you!
