- In an attempt to gain an important city in the south. British forces attacked Fort Moultrie on Sullivan’s island in Charleston with cannon fire, but it bounces of the fort due to it being made of Palmetto logs.

- The British came to a stalemate in the north and began battling for the south.They found out that patriot soldiers were about to reach Camden and went to meet them there. Though the patriots had more forces, their General Gates made the mistake of putting his weaker troops on the side meant for his best troops, leading to mass retreats from inexperienced patriots. His troops were also sick with dysentery, leading to a patriot defeat.

- Great Britain will take the south!
- Battle of Lexington and Concord
- Patriots started a weapons stockpile in Concord in case of more British attacks. The British found out and started marching to Concord to seize the weapons. Patriots learn about the incoming troops and begin planning an ambush at Lexington. Patriots succeed in stopping them.
