- Hi my name is George Hadley
- My way!
- They need to listen to me!
- No Nursery!
- I need to shut down the nursery, or better yet the house.
- George Hadley from “The Veldt”, has 2 kids and a wife. This family has a house that is very high in technology.
- No Africa
- He never listens to me
- George Hadley is stubborn, he doesn't like to listen to what others say. It's his way or the highway! In paragraph 8 “George” said Lydia Hadley, “turn on the nursery, just for a few moments you can’t be so abrupt.” Then George said “No.”
- The Lion
- In page 8 George was talking to Lydia about the nursery and said "Lydia, it's off, and it stays. And the whole damn house dies as of here and now."
- Too Much
- In page 6 Peter and George were arguing about the nursery and Africa, because George wanted to shut it down forever and Peter didn't.
- In page 9 George's kids locked him and his wife in the nursery and wouldn't let them out. My prediction is that the lion ate them because of what they realized about what they were hering
- Let us out!
- In the short story "The Veldt" it shows what too much technology can do to you, as you saw it didn't end up good.
