- Once upon a time, there lived a fish who was jealous over a boy. It was jealous because, it would see a boy everyday wrestling with dogs, climbing trees with squirrels and running with horses. Seeing this, in its fish head, it would dream of having legs.
- Then, one day a fairy appeared in front of the fish. She said, "You have always wished for legs, am I right?". The fish replied "Yes!" The fairy asked, "I can give you legs, but you cannot be fish anymore. Do you still want to have legs?" The fish replied with NO thinking, "Yes, I really wish to have legs." The fairy then turned the fish to a girl. The girl then walked on land for the first time. She felt very happy and excited.
- After exploring for a while, the fish girl was sitting on a rock waiting for the boy to come. As the boy arrived, he noticed a girl sitting on a rock. He invited her to play with him. The fish girl accepted and they both went to the nearby field to play.
- Yeah, I would love to!
- Hey, do you want to play?
- This went on. Every day, the boy and the girl would play with dogs, ride on horses or play tag. Together, they became very good friends.
- Then one day, the walking fish was a little careless and tripped over a rock. The walking fish was severely hurt and the doctor said she couldn't walk normally again.
- Stop!!
- What?!
- Hearing the Doctor say that she could never walk normally again, she felt devastated. She could neither swim as before. The walking fish suddenly felt how foolish she was. She felt, she never wished for legs. But what could she do now?
- Moral: Be careful of what you wish for.
