- I left the movie theater, and started to imagine the other greasers. As I walked a blue mustang pulled up next to me socs. They laughed as i walked by. Yelling and screaming, for Soda or Darry or the other greasers. Soda sat next to me as started to wake up he Gallanty came to my aid.
- Dally, Johnny, and I snuck into the drive in theater. We snuck into the drive in theater where we sat next to two soc girls Dally left but Two Bit joined us. Cherry one of the socs went to get popcorn with me. Cherry had asked why Johnny was scared by Two Bit when he tapped his shoulder. It was surprising yet shocking that a soc wanted to know about a greaser.
- "Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay."
- The socs Johnny Two Bit and I started to walk home. Shortly and wroudly after the socs came for their girlfriends. They went with them as they didn’t want to cause trouble. Johnny and I had fell asleep in the park. It was late. Dally was angry that I had come home so late and slapped me in the face! My face was as red as a tomato. I left in a hurry and met up with Johnny.
- I needed to cool off Johnny and I walked around the park. As a familiar blue mustang followed behind us. The socs wanted revenge for us walking with their girlfriends last night. Bob stuck my head into the water fountain I blacked out. Frighteningly and shockingly, Johnny killed him. We hastily hurried out of there only Dally could help us now. He gave us money, a gun and instructions on how to lay low in the country.
- I wanted everything to be a dream, worrying and doubting that Johnny and I would be alright. We got haircuts to disguise ourselves. We just started to rap our head around the fact we were wanted for murder. As I tried to smoke a ring I pictured a poem I never really knew what it meant. The next morning Dally was here; he said Darry was sorry and soda had written me a letter. He took us to go get food. Turns out Cherry was spying for the greasers.
- Dally reminded me of when Iwent hunting in the country with my dad. After Johnny finished his food he announced that we were going to turn ourselves back in. Dally cursed he wasn't mad he just didn't want us to get hurt. There waa a crowd around the old church we ran up despite Dally’s wishes. The teacher outside explained that the olg thing caught fire during their school picnic. Students were inside Johnny ran in and I followed behind. The church was a burning ember. We started to throw kids out of the window. I was in an ambulance. I told the teacher everything Darry and Soda were waiting for me there. Soda and Darry greeted me lovingly and happily they were sorry.
