The Sower

- I wonder why the bag feels lighter? Probably nothing
- Oh my that thorn bush looks spiky it could really hurt someone.

- I wonder where all the seeds went?
- The sower (God) went out to sow seeds with his trusty bag of grain seed and dropped a handful of seeds on the foot path on the way to the fields.
- I think This is where all the seeds went
- After dropping those seeds the sower (God) continued down the path and on his journey dropped a handful more seeds in to a thorn bush with good soil underneath.
- So that is why you need to open your heart to the word of God.
- The sower (God) then continued to walk to his field but as he arrived he noticed he only had 35 seeds out of the 100 seeds, he continued to plant the 35 seeds into the fresh watered fields.
- The next week he walked back down the same path and saw that the birds devoured the first seeds. Further down the path he saw the seeds in the thorn bush got chocked to death from the spikes and withered away from the heat. And at the very end he saw the last seeds were flourishing.
- In this parable the seeds represented the word of God and the soil represented the people. The people who ignored the word of God (the seeds on the path) got eaten by the birds which means the devil took them. The people how were good on the inside (the thorny bush seeds) started off well but the stress of life killed they're faith in God. The last seeds flourished because they believed in good and were always loyal to him and intern flourished and lived a happy life spreading the word of God.
