- Mary, a virgin, gave birth to Jesus in a little town in a faraway region of the earth. All of our hopes and wishes were realized by that modest birth. Even though He was the divine Son and had limitless wisdom and power, He was nevertheless mortal and prone to hunger and discomfort. Jesus Christ had a firsthand understanding of life's difficulties and suffering. He is fully aware of and recognizes everyone of us.
